Take this for what it's worth, but singer Tom Jones says that he was almost offered the role of James Bond, until producer Cubby Broccoli (didn't make that name up) decided he was too famous. The role, of course, went to Sean Connery who kicked off a lineage of the world famous spy currently portrayed by Daniel Craig. Jones says, "The only thing I regret is that I'd like to have had a pop at acting when I was younger."

He may not be returning for The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, but director Gary Ross is in talks to direct a Harry Houdini biopic.

And finally, back to The Avengers. You'll be seeing a lot more of Mark Ruffalo's Hulk. The actor has signed a six-movie deal to play the angry green giant, leading some to believe a solo movie is in the works. As Marvel president put it, "When it'll be, who knows. But the conversation's definitely started."
