As 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' Moves Forward with a Sequel, You Rate This Weekend's Release

The first weekend of 2013 saw Texas Chainsaw 3D slash its way to the top of the box office with a surprising $23 million haul. As with most films that over-perform, sequel talk begins almost immediately.

Bloody Disgusting claims that producers for Texas Chainsaw 3D will move forward with a sequel. The site says there could be as many as six more Texas Chainsaw movies on the way.

The film earned a Cinemascore of C+, though most critics scored it much lower (the film is on its way to being Certified Rotten over on RottenTomatoes).
