Arnold Schwarzenegger’s First Live-Action Film Could Be …

So we know Arnold Schwarzenegger has already launched his return to Hollywood by announcing a partnership with Stan Lee that includes an upcoming comic book, animated show and eventual 3D animated movie, all surrounding a superhero character named The Governator. We brought you the quirky (and sorta cheesy) trailer not too long ago, and now we have word on a couple other things Schwarzenegger has up his sleeve.

Fortunately, there aren’t any sequels or remakes of his previous films … yet, but Coming Soon tells us that the former Governor-turned-Governator is circling two films: The Last Stand and The Tomb. The Last Stand comes from director Kim Jee-woon (I Saw the Devil), and it’s set to be his American film. The story follows an American sheriff who takes on a Mexican drug cartel.
Meanwhile, The Tomb follows a prison designer who’s forced to escape from a complicated structure he helped create. Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) is set to direct that film. CS says he could star in both, though scheduling would have to be fudged to make it work. Plus, if he takes on both, does that mean we won’t see Arnold team up with Sly Stallone in The Expendables 2, which just set an August 2012 release date?
Sound off on which project you’d like to see Arnold Schwarzenegger take on.
