And the Next 'Bond' Girl Is...

Beautiful, smart, and often deadly, the Bond girl — other than 007 himself — is the most highly anticipated role in the James Bond series. There have been a lot of rumors about who will be playing Bond's latest lady for Sam Mendes' Bond 23, which hits theaters next November. Twitch is reporting that Daniel Craig will be starring alongside French actress Bérénice Marlohe for the new film.

Marlohe — who looks right at home with a gun in her hands (ahem … ) — is a television actress trying to make the leap to the big screen. The untitled 23rd Bond movie will be a great place for her to do so, as the film franchise has helped launch the careers of several actresses. The young starlet is currently filming her first feature Un bonheur n’arrive jamais seul, with director James Huth. She'll be in good company for her American debut, with the likes of Javier Bardem, Ralph Finnes, and Naomie Harris who also appear in Bond 23.

Hopefully we'll have studio confirmation about this casting soon. In the meantime, here's a peek at the new Bond girl in motion for a French car commercial. Do you approve?
