'American Reunion' Teaser Trailer: The Gang is Back in This Photobooth Montage

We're not sure if you can call this an official teaser trailer, but it's as close as you can get to one as Universal has released the first piece of marketing (aside from the teaser poster) for their upcoming American Pie sequel, American Reunion. What separates this from the other more recent America Pie sequels is that this is the first time the characters from the original trilogy are returning since American Wedding, and it's also the first American Pie-related movie to premiere in theaters since 2003's American Wedding.

This time the whole gang is back for American Reunion, which picks up with -- you guessed it -- their 10-year high school reunion. In this first teaser, we get a well-staged photobooth montage of all the characters paired up with their respective love interests and friends, or solo (we're looking at you Finch). It'll be interesting to see how writer-directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (of Harold and Kumar fame) handle the American Pie franchise, which is dirty, yes, but a little more down-to-earth and heartfelt than the Harold and Kumar flicks. Fingers crossed they get it right.

American Reunion hits theaters on April 6th, 2012. Check out the teaser below ...
