Alfonso Cuarón, Oscar Isaac and Eugenio Derbez Get Personal at Golden Globes Red Carpet (Video)

Our friends over at Fandango Cine were able to chat with some of Hollywood's most popular Hispanic stars at this year's Golden Globes red carpet.

Here are some of the best interviews of the night:

Alfonso Cuarón

Gravity director Alfonso Cuarón admits that he didn’t have an acceptance speech prepared, saying, "I'll stutter something out [if I win]." The win made Cuaron the first Latino director to win a Golden Globe. Cuaron added that Sandra Bullock and George Clooney were quite the pranksters always teasing his heavy English accent.

Oscar Isaac

Many don't know that the Inside Llewyn Davis star is half Guatemalan and Cuban. In fact, there haven’t been that many interviews where Oscar Isaac shows off his Spanish speaking skills, until now. He jokingly says he would tell his younger self to take advantage of sleeping. Also, admits that his biggest challenge on the film was being able to portray Llewyn Davis' internal emotional struggle.

Eugenio Derbez and Alessandra Rosaldo

Mexican actor and director of the hit comedy Instructions Not Included, Eugenio Derbez attended this year's Golden Globes for the first time with his wife Alessandra Rosaldo. The two, admittedly nervous, said walking around on the red carpet was a bit of a shock. "Every three steps you take you see a big star and people that we have admired for years," said Derbez. "I'm really thankful. We never thought Instructions Not Included would award us with so much, it's been one surprise after another. I heard Will Smith asked his agent to get a screener of the film, so that's been the biggest surprise so far."

Daniel Brühl

Rush star Daniel Brühl made a quick stop to talk about the perks of attending the Golden Globes. In his case, he's just excited to be able to reunite with Ron Howard and Chris Hemsworth. If you're wondering where his accent is from, Bruhl is half Spanish.
