ABC to Air Exclusive 'Deathly Hallows Pt. 2' Footage for Harry Potter Weekend

Harry PotterIn gearing up for the final Deathly Hallows film, ABC Family's "Harry Potter Weekend," which begins tomorrow, will release exclusive sneak peeks from Part 2, never-before-seen footage from cast and crew, and a marathon of the first five films. That's a magical, Harry-filled weekend for the average Muggle!

Warner Bros. recently announced that the Part 2 sneak peeks include Harry and Draco's fight in the Room of Requirement, dragon sequences and the final showdown in the Hogwarts courtyard. The behind-the-scenes footage, which will air throughout the weekend, will give insights on significant scenes from Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2, and includes a look at Harry and Ginny's relationship, director David Yates' take on Harry and Hermione's relationship, and the origins of the Marauder's Map.

If you've read all the Harry Potter books, you're aware of some key moments that J.K. Rowling has planted all throughout the series – little foreshadowings and instances that perhaps may have been glazed over on a first read-through, yet have great significance and a delightful payoff when things come full circle in the end. While some of you voracious readers wouldn't mind re-reading all the Potter books again before Part 2 opens, ABC's time-turner look back at the first five films serves as a way to jog our memories of every spell and Snape encounter for the epic finale.
