10 Hidden Secrets About ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’

If you’re one of the many who’ve already watched The Twilight Saga: New Moon, like, a billion times, then you probably already picked up on some of these hidden gems spread throughout the film. And if you haven’t, well, then this should give you enough reasons (ten total) to shovel out a few bucks for one more screening.

Entertainment Weekly spoke to New Moon director Chris Weitz, who was gracious enough to provide them with ten little gems hidden deep within the film. Here are a few examples:

“When Bella is looking for the meadow where she and Edward are seen lying down together, she carries a golden compass clipped to her backpack — part of my baggage!'' (Chris Weitz directed an adaptation of The Golden Compass before taking on New Moon, hence the nod.)

“If you want to know what Jacob says before he almost kisses Bella, ask a Quileute! The address of the Quileute tribal council is quileutenation.org. I can tell you this much: He says, Kwop kilawtley.''

''You can see Volterra's tower and the red-cloaked revelers from the festival of San Marco on the cover of Bella's copy of Romeo and Juliet when she wakes up in her bedroom.''

''Look for an upside-down engraving of a wolf in the shot of the bowl in which Carlisle burns his first-aid equipment; on Jacob's T-shirt when he meets Bella in the school parking lot for the first time; and a wolf trinket on the dream-catcher that he gives her.''

Head over to Entertainment Weekly to check out the rest. Did you spot any of these when you watched the film?
