More than Honey is one of the best movies I’ve seen in awhile for a variety of reasons, but my favorite reason is because of the stellar cinematography. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the screen; each shot was beautiful. Stephen Holden from The New York Times calls it “Spectacularly Beautiful,” and I couldn’t agree more! It made science enjoyable, which is no small feat because I hate science. David Noh from the Film Journal says, “It’s a vibrantly absorbing trove of information, revealing things like the “Waggle Dance,”discovered by Nobel Prize Winner Karl von Frisch...”. Imhoof did a great job presenting the information; in fact the film was very moving. Before watching More Than Honey, I could’ve cared less about our bees. Now I am a bee advocate. This is a huge issue that needs to made more of a priority because it affects all of us.

The filming is incredible but it is like an unorganized term paper. Really? It is a mystery why the bee population is dwindling when we are hauling bees across the country for days in truck beds, i haling fumes and without any way to "relieve themselves"? Give me a break.
