Sort of a greatest hits of all of Wes Anderson's themes, techniques, favorite actors, etc. If you like his movies, then go see this.

An amazingly wonderful film, like a odd and quirky (almost) modern fairytale. One of my favorite movies of the year, if not my absolute favorite. Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward were refreshingly perfect as Sam Shakusky and Suzy Bishop, the two love-fated pre-teens. Great acting, wonderful dialogue and story. Must go!

My husband and I went to see this because the ratings were so good and it had a strong cast. We weren't disappointed. It's a bit quirky, but the story line is good and all the characters are played very well. Enjoyable.

I was so excited to see this movie, i.e. great actors, original story, not commercial, etc. . I was very disappointed. The movie is boring and the plot is so thin, luckily the actors are saving the movie a bit. This is very pale in comparison with " Stand by Me".

This is by far the best movie I have seen this summer. Away from all the comic book rehashes we've had, this is fresh and joyful. Visually stunning, great soundtrack and really good, unforced, understated acting. Dialogue is witty and humorous. There is one scene with some funny adult content but other than that I'd say I'd let my 10yr old see it.
