This was just a great movie for kids. I am 12 and i still loved every bit of it. Great story line filled with humor for all ages. This was a very well made movie.

not for the very young

While most of the monsters aren't scary, the sound, dark scenery of some scenes and a couple of the characters make this movie not for the very young child or the sensitive child.

I took 3 of my grandchildren today to the 3D showing, ages 4, 7 and 11, we all enjoyed! The kids stayed in their seats with their eyes on the screen, there was none of the wiggling or is almost over. They could follow the storyline and even commented on the way home how some of the things tied into the 1st movie and made more sense to them. Very nice.

This was a very cute movie, great for kids of all ages. The story is set up to when they first met each other, so it gives you a background of how the characters interacted before they worked with each other at Monsters Inc. It shows how Sully and Mike became best friends and why Randall doesn't like them. I thought this was very well written.

I loved seeing the back story to Monsters, Inc. I laughed, was touched and was engaged for the entire movie. Also, the short at the beginning, The Blue Umbrella, was exceptionally cute and clever. A great experience all around! Thanks, Pixar!
