We've come so accustomed to Pixar making great films, that we really don't care about the bad parts. But I feel like Pixar is starting to get a little lazy. Monsters Inc. put together a great story about monsters in the closet while adding an adventure to it, then MU kinda had to ruin it by forcing a prequel upon us. From the viewpoint of a kid, it was funny. It had its fair share of slapstick comedy and cute characters that kids will enjoy. But otherwise, the story was forced, bland and just didn't have the depth that Monsters Inc. had. Sometimes it relied a little too much on the cuteness and emotional factor that just didn't feel right in the Monsters story. Plus too many new characters made it feel like Pixar was doing too much work with it. The whole movie could and should have been a lot simpler. Still, it's for the kids so they will laugh and certainly enjoy it.

This movie was adorable! Yay Go for the underdog! Great story line, and did a perfect merge with the original movie. Cinematography was incredible - so life like - didn't even realize it was animation. Perfect casting keeping in the theme. It's nice to see how it all began! Two thumbs up for any age!

This is a very funny comedy. Loved it. It was a very motivational type of movie. it shows that even though you may be different on the outside, it's what really matters on the inside.
Overall, This was a fantastic movie.

I thought this movie was great!! My daughter loved it, and it really put some good life lessons in it! I liked how it taught that, alone you may have some really good qualities and talents, but combined with others they can be limitless. It taught good team work, compassion, understanding, and determination can develope great friendships!

Loved it! Nothing else will top Monster, Inc. but the movie had a great story to it. If your little one went nuts over Monsters, Inc. they'll definitely love Monsters University.
