Cute story, the 10 year old enjoyed it, but the 4 year old was ready to do something else after an hour - didn't hold her attention (or mine).

Fun, Funny, Fantastic!

I was worried that Monsters University wouldn't be able to capture the magic of the original. That fear was put to bed within the first five minutes! MU is amazing! Monsters U is visually gorgeous. Pixar takes animated CGI to the next level. This movie combines great storytelling with an encouraging message. Monsters University ties in very well with the original movie. Monsters U is great for all ages. I actually feel that adults might enjoy this move more than children! Monsters University is extra special for current and former college students. The short before the movie is visually stunning, but not as good as Pixar's previous efforts. There are cool college themed posters and ads during the credits and a special scene after the credits. If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

I was on the edge of my seat for nearly the entire movie. I also felt that it wasn't a forced victory (which would have been too much of a cliche) and instead flowed a bit more with reality. Overall I thought it was just spectacular.

I'm not sure kids will understand it.

It's not that this movie contains scenes kids shouldn't watch, it's just that it contains scenes they probably wouldn't get. It's about college life. Well, it's about knowing your true self and being satisfied with that, but it uses college themes. Middle-Schoolers might get it, but the younger ones will be lost. For the most part, I was the only one in the theater consistently laughing -- and that, not much. The theater was packed and it was mostly small kids (4-8) with their parents. There didn't seem to be enough to hold the attention of either.

I loved the movie and my son did too!! Excellent characters, interesting how personalities are built during college time and how a true friendship can be after a rough start!... I just loved it!.
