I was worried that Monsters University wouldn't be able to capture the magic of the original. That fear was put to bed within the first five minutes! MU is amazing!
Monsters U is visually gorgeous. Pixar takes animated CGI to the next level. This movie combines great storytelling with an encouraging message. Monsters University ties in very well with the original movie.
Monsters U is great for all ages. I actually feel that adults might enjoy this move more than children! Monsters University is extra special for current and former college students.
The short before the movie is visually stunning, but not as good as Pixar's previous efforts.
There are cool college themed posters and ads during the credits and a special scene after the credits.
If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

I took my grandchildren 6 and 8 to see it on June 24, 2013. I enjoyed watching it with them in 3D. They were amazed and not ready to leave the theater.

My 12 year old daughter was a huge fan of the original when she was a toddler. Was a real treat for us to share this amazing story again nearly 10 years later. Great story and true entertainment. Pixar does it again.

im 16 years old and watched this movie. I say for people around my age who saw this as a child should go see it. it brings back old and new people who are most enjoyable. The 3D is ok but i dont think anything of it. 3D is still new its not perfected yet. The plot was ok it was based around mike but hes a great character so i enjoyed it. I love how they base it around college since alot of kids who saw this as a child are going there now or soon. Parents will get alot of jokes that kids wont understand but alot of G movies have that. I say go see this movie and have a great time!

i thought it would simply be some corny way to make more money, it was and it was fun.
Seen the 3-d version. don't waist your money on 3-d, it was more like watching the standard film with the glasses on, not a whole lot of 3-d effects if any.
