9 year old had seen it and really loved the jokes and outtakes at the end.
4 year old thought it was going to be scary, but really likes the 3D effect and had fun.

This movie is awesome regardless and we have seen it millions of times. Decided to take the kids on holiday break to see it in 3 D. The 3D was not that impressive. Nothing really different so it was not worth the extra bucks. Fun movie though.

I saw the original with my husband. This time, I took my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter. She was as enchanted, smiling and laughing as I was, the first time, and again this time.
Monsters, Inc is among the family movies I've seen. there are scary parts, but always an explanation. The ability to change and learn to love is the first lesson my granddaughter took away from it. The second is that there is no need to fear the dark, or the monsters in her room!

I don't believe I saw it when it first came out--and certainly my daughter didn't see it then. It was the first DVD she ever got...back when she was 2 or 3 years old. It was great to catch it on the big screen--and the 3-D experience only enhanced the show. If you can get to a theater before it's gone, make it happen!!!
