Even better on the big screen

I don't believe I saw it when it first came out--and certainly my daughter didn't see it then. It was the first DVD she ever got...back when she was 2 or 3 years old. It was great to catch it on the big screen--and the 3-D experience only enhanced the show. If you can get to a theater before it's gone, make it happen!!!

Monsters Inc. revisited in 3D

We went to see this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it with our 4 year old grandson. He likes "spooky" things so the monsters yelling didn't startle him but this might not work for children who have a fear of that type of thing. The 3D added to the experience as the characters seemed to be right in front of us. This movie does not have a lot of "special effects" that you would normally see in a 3D film but it was worth seeing especially if your little one was too young for the first release. I think it's best for kids age 4 and up as long as they can handle "scary" looking characters that yell and they have an understanding that the monsters aren't real.

Monsters, Inc 3D

I saw the original with my husband. This time, I took my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter. She was as enchanted, smiling and laughing as I was, the first time, and again this time. Monsters, Inc is among the family movies I've seen. there are scary parts, but always an explanation. The ability to change and learn to love is the first lesson my granddaughter took away from it. The second is that there is no need to fear the dark, or the monsters in her room!

Loved it the first time I saw and loved it again. Great movie kids and family. The animation looks great in 3D.
