What can you say about a production by the Metropolitan Opera of Aida. Stunning, outlandish, spectacular, over the top! Costumes were amazing; scenery and sets were perfect. Not my favorite performers, but the voices were perfectly matched to meet the dramatic soloist requirements. Adults with a little background in opera will love it. It's all an Opera is meant to be.

Beautiful stage decoration and the story is so beautiful but tragic. Go see it if you like that kind of thing :)

Excellent BUT intermission-break needed. Fantastic scenes; great singing, acting. Good for kids to see and enjoy. Thanks to Fandango for bringing this t us.

Met Summer Encore Aida

I really enjoyed the Met movie and plan to go again to see more. I'm hooked! I liked the subtitles and being able to follow the movie and not miss out on the action. The behind the scenes and ariel shots were really interesting and added a whole new dimension. Singing was great but I thought the casting for the princesses part was poor. All other casting was okay.
