It is Christmas time on the children's ward of a hospital in this made-for-television Czech film, and the kids need a little cheering up. Their fellow patient, an enterprising twelve-year old boy, is just the one to do it. Somehow, he cons a St. Nicholas costume off of a wandering youth out on the street, and comes back to the ward in it, to the delight of everyone there, including the head doctor and his very smitten ward nurse. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
