I went to an early screening of Megamind, frankly it was great! Everyone in our party agreed that the plot was decent and had a great ending. I would definetly reccomend this movie to anyone. Also, the 3d was phenomonal, made my 4yr old dodge in her seat. I would give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Not as funny & original as The Incredibles, but still a lot of fun. Great job by Ferrell and the rest with the voices, but Tina Fey underplayed hers (making her character a little boring). My 3-1/2 yr old twins didn't laugh often, but they liked it. Don't think the 3D added a lot, so feel free to save $ and see the regular version.

great 3D without being overdone. Great storyline... fun for kids and adults.

I've read the other reviews and agree with most! My son is 10 years old. His review is that he thought it was cool, action packed and sometimes funny. The only problem is that it's kinda long and drawn out. I too, kept wondering what time it was and how much longer until the movie was over. When we got in the car, I asked what his favorite part of the movie was. Usually, he can jump to a part of any show he's seen and quickly repond laughing about the part that he found funniest. This time he said, "Ummmmmm I dont' know. What was your favorite part?" Not impressive! Also the part where the movie reveals that there is no Easter Bunny, Toothfairy or Mary Queen of Peace is just wrong! Our show was packed with kids, mostly under 8 and when they said this, we started hearing children crying. How sad! I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. It's just not that good. Sorry....
