    Definitely this year's Best Documentary!

    by s2art

A very good documentary film, though I'm not big on most documentaries. It's truly astounding when you see him right in the middle of the towers, almost like he's floating on air. I highly recommend it for documentary fans.

MAN ON A WIRE ~ Enthralling, Exhilerating Documentary!!!

    by lugubriousthespian

Phillipe Petit's unbelievable dream to infiltrate the World Trade Center and tightrope walk between the Twin Towers is so inconceivable by today's heightened security measures, it makes this excellent documentary all the more fascinating to watch! While interspersing old movie footage, dramatically re-enacted scenes and black & white stills with current interviews of Petit himself as well as all those who conspired to pull off this astounding coup in the early 70s, the director & producer take the viewer on a real-life adventure 100 times more thrilling than 90% of any Hollywood blockbuster. The question will plague and haunt you not only during your initial, riveting screening but long afterwards: WHAT THE HELL COULD EVER POSSESS ANYONE TO DO SOMETHING SO SHOCKINGLY DANGEROUS?!?!?!?!?! You may not ever be able to discern from Petit's own accounts - but the story is one to be revered for centuries to come for we're not likely to see anything akin to it ever again! And legally so!

    Captivating

    by r.m.parker

Wonderfully constructed - the balance between original footage shot during the planning of the event and present-day interviews was perfect, presenting the events that led to this amazing stunt in a fun, uplifting, often hilarious, and occasionally suspenseful way. Documentaries have changed so much in recent years, from moments in time to thinly disguised propaganda films, so it was nice to see such a well-made return to form. Absolutely worth seeing! Take a date!

    Interesting, Fascinating, Unique and Funny!

What a breath of fresh air (compared to the baloney that the big Hollywood studios put out)
This Documentary rocked!!!! I have a very short attention span, but I was glued to the screen the whole time. I was not expecting this documentary to be funny, but at times it was, and that was the cherry on the top.
