I enjoyed this production, but not as much as the previous ones in the Met simulcast series, simply because it is not as great an opera. Nonetheless, the singing was beautiful and the behind-the-scenes features informative and fun.

Great Production with great singers! Sound was very, very good. My only criticism was that the lighting could have been better!

I was not as ecstatic with this opera as I have been with the ones seen last year and so far this year, although I love Puccini. I thought Marcello Giordani was excellent, as usual, but found that Karita Mattila was not as thrilling. I thought Levine;s conducting was as brilliant as ever. I would love to see these productions continued and, possib ly, even adding some more performances in the future. I wish to thank you so much for showing these live performances.

Absolutely wonderful - I prefer the movies to live. We are so thrilled to have the chance to see the Met as we feel removed from the operas since moving from San Francisco to Albuquerque.
