SO SO

Tries to hard to be different and appeal to a dumbed down generation. Action scenes are way over done, nothing new to see here, way too long I actually fell asleep watching this.

Just OK was hoping for more.

I was really looking forward to this movie. I was hoping for so much more. The beginning was just so slow moving for me. I wanted more background instead of just flash backs. Knowing that the team of Dark Knight, the trilogy was so great, I was hoping for the same here. It just did not deliver. When we finally get to the end of the movie, the action and tension was great in that section but I could have done without the rest of it. So for me the beginning is Oh NO and the end is Must GO so overall just So-So. In fact I almost left before the action started in the end. I will not buy the DVD when it comes out.

Best Superman film so far!

I love Christopher Reeves, I really do but not his Superman or Dean Cain's or Brandon Routh's could come close to this film. I mean anything directed by Zack Snyder (who directed Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead) and produced by Christopher Nolan (like I need to explain what a master he is) is going to cinematically beautiful. Henry Cavill . . . fantastic. Amy Adams . . . best Lois Lane I've seen. This movie is a must see!

Finally! This was the Super Man movie DC Comic fans were waiting for. They did a great job explainig the story behind Kal El and Krypton. I loved every minute of it, and the all star supporting cast was incredible! This is by far one of the best Super Hero movie's ever made!

A lot of people have been complaining about lack of character development, but I had absolutely no problem in this respect. I fear a little to say this, because I did not grow up following Superman issue to issue, but Superman never came off to me as one of the deepest characters burdened with moral dilemmas. I thought the film did a pretty good job conveying a deeper character. Some of the dialogue sounded unnatural, but it didn't prevent me from enjoying the film. Overall, I though Snyder did a good job, though critics seem to dislike all his work.
