Best Superman Movie of All Time

This movie tops them all in terms of plot, storytelling, and maintaining the source material. The acting is great and the casting is even better. Cavill is the best Superman to date and fits the part. Amy Adams makes a great Lois Lane. For the material in the Superman story over the last 70+ years, this movie captures it as best as anyone could as for in a Movie #1 in a franchise series. The movie doesn't dumb anything down and assumes the audience has some basic knowledge of who Superman is and where he is from. Russell Crowe plays a great father and far better than Marlon Brando ever did. Overall, this is a movie to see despite what critics say. Go see it for yourself. I'm a Batman fan but this movie is definitely in the Top 5 of Comic Book adaption movies of all time!

Stiff acting, bad direction of the actors, too little story and WAY too may CG'd special effects. Way too long and the script was laughably bad. I want those 2.5 hours of my life back. Take a pass on this dog.

Never seen so little for so long

Hard to have plot twists with a story line that everyone knows, but it was tediously long. Didn't need to see hours of Superman throwing people through buildings. CGI is great, it's amazing the stuff they can do, but to just do it because you can makes it boring.

this was the best superman movie by far, the darkness of the movie added so much mystery to the plot. The actors did an amazing job and i would go see it again if i got the chance. Completely worth seeing, the movie keeps you entertained the whole time and i was sad to see it end, it just left you wanting more!!!

I love Christopher Reeves, I really do but not his Superman or Dean Cain's or Brandon Routh's could come close to this film. I mean anything directed by Zack Snyder (who directed Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead) and produced by Christopher Nolan (like I need to explain what a master he is) is going to cinematically beautiful. Henry Cavill . . . fantastic. Amy Adams . . . best Lois Lane I've seen. This movie is a must see!
