A wonderful movie great for lighting up the darkest knight {see the pun}.The perfomence form Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth was splendid I was a bit nerves when they started to sing but of course the pulled it of wonderfully.I think the story without the singing would have been interesting, so adding only made it so much better.Some might call it a chick filx maybe so but enjoyable none the less. ~From~ TheKnight The British ?movie snob?
It was the most upbeat, cheerful movie I think I have ever seen! I loved it! Pierce Brosnan CAN NOT SING! However, it was adorable, none the less. Please go see this, my husband is kind of a "man's man" and he didn't hate it, so please go see!
i must be the only person that thought this movie was terrible. The singing was awful by all characters, Pierce Bronsman's singing was downright horrible. the only thing that kept me giving this movie a 'oh no!' rating is that all of the songs are from Abba. Abba had great music but this movie is nothing but a bunch of actors trying to sing. The plot was bad. And seeing meryl streep dance around in a spandex suite is just disgusting, dont get me wrong i love merly streep. if you're between the ages of 45-55 and a woman you might like this. But for me it was a complete dissappointment.
Took the kids to watch this movie in theaters. We had a great time. I thought the film was sweet, amusing, and definitely for girls only. I?m thinking about see it in live theaters. Haha!
