My brothers were dying to see it so i took them and a friend to help me survive. The movie was horrible. There were very few parts that even reached funny. I dont remember laughing at all. The first was bad too, but way better than this one. It is just like all the other jungle movies out there. I would recomend not seeing it
I don't know if this was meant to be an homage to Lion King, but if it was, they did not hit the mark. Lion is supposed to be king of the jungle. Leaves home. Does some stuff. Comes back. Expected to be the king we all know he is. Does more stuff. Respected. Bam, movie in a nutshell. Not smart. Not an homage. Not interesting.
it's a great movie for all.
My 10 yr. old and 6 yr. old said they loved it, but I only heard them laugh twice. I didn't think it was all that funny. Of course the penguins are entertaining. But what you see in the preview is all you're going to get. It's a Lion King copy-cat and the best part was that doggone song! I'm easily entertained by kids movies, but don't pay more than a $1 at Redbox.
Great family film. I took all my little cousins and it was a blast!
