    Surprise, freaks!

    In case you were wondering, I name my reviews after quotes from the movie. Well now I do... ANYWAY.
    Special effects: Good solid animation, Dreamworks really has this animation thing down.
    Casting: Also good and solid. All the original cast, plus a few new faces... voices. Including Bernie Mac, in which they dedicated the film to him after his tragic death.
    Story: For an animated sequel, it was pretty good. Everything is funny and fresh. Great for the whole family.
    Overall, great family film, rent it.

    good kids movie

    I thought it was pretty good but it just didn't measure up to the first one, good for the kids, a little boring for the parents

    VERY GOOD, EXPECTED BETTER THOUGH

    IM NOT GONNA LIE THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZINGLY FUNNY, IT JUST FELT LIKE SOMETHING WAS MISSING. THE MOVIE FELT EXTREMELY SHORT, BUT ALL IN ALL IT HAD A GOOD STORY TO IT FOR BEING A CHILDRENS MOVIE. I LOVE MADAGASCAR SO FAR. GO WATCH IT

    Wity and funny for all ages

    This movie was wity and had a few one liner adult jokes in it too. ANd the IMAX experiance made it even better. WOW who new there was that much detial in every shot. Good for young and old alike.

    Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa: The IMAX Experience

    The movie was great. I never go to regular movies any longer. It is IMAX for me always. To top off this movie my group (5) was the only ones in the theater. Not only did I save money and time by using Fandango we enjoyed a "personal" showing of the movie. What more can you ask for.
