I usually skip a review, but for the kids this movie just has it. #2 was a disappointment, but 3 has it moving moving moving. Very well done my niece and i laughed so much. She is 7. so the kids will love it. The movie rocks. Don't miss it.

My husband and I took our 3 girls to see this and they just loved it. Very entertaining with great humor throughout. We would highly recommend and intend to purchase on blu-ray when it becomes available.

If you are a family that still watches the original movie (2005) and 2 (2009) at home, then you will love this third movie. From the moment the movie starts, the entire theatre was laughing and moving to the music. The characters are in top form. The specific effects are fantastic. The storyline, while predictable, is a good one for all, and has great surprises in throughout. My son was singing all the way to the parking lot, and having other kids join in. Quite a scene! This is a great family, "feel good" movie! (and for the parent of one of my son's friends from camp, a restful one too!) We had a group of boys ages 5 to 10, and all enjoyed the movie.

of time, money, resources, labor. You name it. Madagascar 1 and 2 were funny and clever, good for kids of all ages. Madagascar 3 - what happened? The story doesn't hold together, some of the plot lines were nothing short of absurd (King Julius falling in love with a circus bear? What? Really? Why?) and the introduction of a French animal inspector seemed like a last-ditch reason to make a third movie. Stay away. Stay away. Stay away.
