Just what I expected, not the typical ending. Perfect for kids of any age !!!!

Saw the 3-D version. Probably not worth the extra money. If I had it to do over, I would see the regular movie. Film was cute.

My kids are 8 and 10 and they thought the movie was fun and entertaining. I liked that the movie makers had some thoughtful themes running through it: "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence", thinking creatively and doing your best, and forgiving your friend when they make mistakes. The characters were funny yet respectful and showed caring relationships. I don't mean to be a prude - but so much stuff on tv is sarcastic and disrespectful humour - while funny, the kids do model that behaviour - as seen in my own home. And absolutely amazing animation!

In the words of our seven-year old son: "It was awesome, best one yet" Our four-year old says: "It was so awesome, I liked it, a lot!" Fun for the kids and with the occasional adult innuendos here and there, it had the husband and I chuckling as well. The overall message about friendship and sticking together came across loud and clear and was received well by both of our children. The 3D effects were great with a good use of colors and visuals. Good, clean Friday night family fun!

I was dying to see this. My grandson gave me the excuse. The action and laughs never stopped, and the 3d was totally awesome!!! A most enjoyable afternoon not to miss.
