Machete Kills is like the old 1970's drive in movie. The story is a little different, I lost interest at the preview of Machete Kills in Space. . Somethings were way out there, like bringing in Mel Gibson, Lady Gaga and Cuba Gooding, Jr. If they would have kept it close to the original it would have been alot better. The original was a more realistic movie than this one. If you like to save money, then wait till it comes out on DVD or Blu-Ray. Thank god I had a gift card to go see it.

If you like Rodriguez, you will love this. Over the top, graphic and stupid, but stupid in a very witty self-referential, post-modern kind of way, with loads of cinematic allusion delivered with a big, cheesy wink. Can't wait for the sequel

Robert Rodriguez has done it again. A smart, witty and campy (can those 3 go together) action flick with our favorite machete-wielding superhero back for an encore performance of fighting the bad guys. This time, Machete - wonderfully played by Danny Trejo, is out for revenge for the cold-blooded murder of his partner (played by Jessica Alba). The story takes some detours through a brothel run by a sinister madam played by Sofia Vergara, through a crime lord's (Estevez) maniacal world domination plot and back to the future via a rocket sent into outer space. Oh, and Lady Gaga joins in on the action.

Each one will be campier than the last. I love it. But, I always love Rodriguez. More cult classic than the first, and I had more faith in that people would understand that, but perhaps not. True fans of the genre, of the director, of Grind House, will love it.

It was action pack like the first one but i think this movie goes overly exaggerated.
