If you saw the first movie, you know exactly what you're getting into. Machete Kills is shockingly graphic.
The scale and scope of Machete Kills is much larger than the first movie. While fun, it doesn't feel quite as random and ridiculous as the first installment. The bigger budget brings some higher end special effects, but a lot of the original's appeal had to do with how comically chintzy everything looked.
Machete Kills is filled to the brim with cameos. While definitely cool, the sheer number of their individual threads make this movie less cohesive than the first one.
Machete had parts that had me dying with laughter. If you liked the first movie, this will be a go for sure. I'm really looking forward to "Machete Kills Again!"
There is an outtake and a random scene at the end of the credits

Didn't go in expecting a 'good' movie, but thought it would be fun like the first. There were parts...don't get me wrong, but overall I found it boring.

Just kidding! A B-movie with an A-list cast, Machete Kills is exactly what it was meant to be, an entertaining movie that is not meant to be taken too seriously. The plot took an unexpected turn from the start with a trailer for what will be the third installment, and rocketed straight towards that new frontier without apology. As cheesy as the plot may seem, and as underdressed as the female characters are, the movie is driven by the main character, Machete, who is as honorable an likable as any leading character I've watched. The movie is rife with violence and adult themes, so leave the kiddos at home and go see Machete Kills, because it's a fun ride.

If you like "Machete" you must go see this movie! It is a lot of classic fun! All-star actors were great. Unexpected plot-twists. We enjoyed every minute of it!

If you liked the first movie, you'll like this movie. It's not nearly as good, but it's more of the same stupid fun. If you hated the first movie, this won't change your mind.
