    This was a go rating only if you REALLY love poker

    My wife and I enjoyed this movie, but we are also avid poker players. We understand poker very well, and we enjoy almost anything that involves poker. If we had no poker experience, or a very basic understanding of poker, this movie would have been absolutely worthless.

    Lucky you is so far one of the top five films I've seen so far this year!!It was well acted with an engaging plot,and a top-notch,insightful screenplay.The best movie on gambling ever,it insightfully creates real-life situations,and schemes that real gamblers pull.Very realistic,and I kid you not,I was on the edge of my seat when the World Series of Poker came around.A MUST_SEE on all levels.

    Disappointing

    This movie seems to be pieced together, but huge pieces were left out of the characters, so much so that you didn't care what happended to any of them. Really no central theme, no moral, nothing in it to keep your interest. Really disappointing, so much so that you sit there eating your popcorn waiting for it to get started, and it never does.

    Good overall but not exciting enough

    This was worth seeing but not for the price of a movie ticket. Although the overall plot was good, the movie was a little slow for me with a need for a little more excitement. I would wait until it is out on video
