WAS excellent!!...even if we didn't get to see the intro or info from Director Peter Jackson (west coast got it, east coast had download problem) it was still great. The extended editions were great to see on big screen and it was an awesome day. Took my 13 y/o daughter who is a crazy fan and it was awesome!! A memory for us both that we will treasure for years to come AND cant wait for The Hobbit!!

I was DREADING sitting in the theater that long, but I went for the sake of my 16 year old son. I imagined wanting to get this over with. But to my surprise, I didn't want it to end. I had a wonderful time! And my son said it was one of the best days of his life. He also won a prize for answering a tirvia question correctly. It was a blast! I'd do it again!

I took a friend who had never seen them before, and he loved them. These are some of my favorite movies, and to see them on the big screen in their full, extended glory is certainly worth the price. Plus, AMC does trivia between each movie, so I walked away with a Hobbit poster. Overall, 13 1/2 hours of excellence.

The extended version was awesome. There were so many parts removed from the originally screened movie that were put back in. These additions filled in a lot of wholes in the movie

Nothing beats seeing a movie like this on the big screen, and to see them all in a row, was really great. Thank you movie theaters for giving us this chance!
