This opportunity, grabbed some Taters after this one. Just remember one does not simply drive into mordor.

Love the movies, but bad luck ruined it for me.

The power to the theater went out at around 45 minutes in on the first film. We waited around to see if they would be getting the power back any time soon. Alas, it was going to be about 8 to 9 hours until they fixed the problem. We wouldn't be able to catch the first film anywhere nearby so we gave up on the marathon. It's a shame, and I hope everyone else at the other theaters had an amazing time. Just wish I could have experienced the same. :(

13+ hours with a theater full of like-minded LOTR geeks, intros from Cate and Andy, trivia questions and giveaways, live panels with Mark Ordesky and William Kircher, all put on as a joint effort by the Aero Theater and fab folks at The One Ring *..... Food trucks outside to cater to your hobbity needs, friendly folk inside to share the journey. And the wonderful movies. What move, ever, could you ask? (well, a better indication of where all us crazy Ringers can park in Santa Monica on a Saturday afternoon til THREE in the morning on a Sunday without getting a ticket, yeah) a 99% perfect experience!
