I checked out this movie on "Rotten Tomatoes" before I went to see it and it had gotten 93 tomatoes - really good ratings, right? It was pretty horrible...confusing, dark, bad ending...Can't believe I wasted 1 1/2 hours of my life attending this movie...Not sure WHO those people were that liked it...I went with 3 other people that felt the same way, so it wasn't just me!! Oh, and when there's a GOOD movie, the audience claps at the end...NOT so with this one...Save your money and don't waste 1 1/2 hours of your life with this horribel movie!

My husband was the one who thought I would like the moviet because I'm in love with Bruce Willis(among other male actors), and I really enjoyed it. My husband loved it because of the action. And it did have plenty of that..
I really liked everything about tis movie. The acting and directing was good but the special effects were really great.
My beleif is that this movie is not for younger children, but age 13+ is ok to see this movie, with a parent. I say this because as certain scences are come up, they can ask questiion regarding it. I would want my granchild to ask me so that he/she could get the correct prespective regarding the scene.
Over all, I really enjoyed this movie and suggest that it be seen by parents and older childrens. I truly believe it would be enjoyed by this age group.

This thought-provoking sci-fi thriller draws us into the subtle and fascinating machinations of a future organized crime syndicate. The script is in the literary tradition of sci-fi greats such as Asimov, Clarke, and Heinlein. The time-travel plot device serves the story without feeling gimmicky, while the characters' motivations genuinely pull us along to the unexpected conclusion. Graphic violence.

It was ok. Glad I did not spend the dough to see it in the theater. The bit werid was I couldn't figure out what the past dates were through the whole film. Was it 1939??? Or 2044/2074 as the movie states? No disrespect, but if it was supposed to reflect 2044 where were the technology, culture, costumes? Was that altered too? No cell phones, hardly any vechiles? Weird. No disrespect but the director should not ever try to persue any type of career in the Si-Fi releam of things in any real sense of manner, unless he has some type of crew to back him up.
And I was waiting to see the results of the demise of one's own ancestors, how can you rid your parent/grandparent or whatever without dimissing oneself? Was there a loop I missed, where they got to loop back? Some type of Quatum link that got around that fact?
Then the kid seemed to be like possesed and it almost seemed like some type of horror movie at that point. Really, pick one type of genre and stay with it.
