    Non stop action!

Non stop action. Bruce is still kicking major butt, and those one liners he spits out still makes me bust a gut in laughter. A definite must see film on the big screen, don't wait for it on DVD.

Popcorn, check. Drink, check. Bullets, "I ran out..."

Yippee-ki-yay! With the Die Hard trilogy in the books, twelve years later a fourth installment has graced the screens - Live Free or Die Hard. Bruce Willis returns as NYPD detective John McClane, with his gun, wise attitude, and smart-*** remarks in hand. He's assigned to pick up and protect a computer geek, Matt Farrell (Justin Long, famous for being the Mac guy on television), who is sought after by cyber terrorists attempting to cripple the country. McClane, with timid and whiny Farrell at his side at all times, lets nothing stand in his way while taking out the opposition one man at a time. He backs down to no one, commandeers any vehicle necessary, and seeks out his nemeses. While this film's rating is PG-13, it is just as action-packed (but not nearly as epic) as another summer blockbuster - Transformers. There aren't as much blood spills or obscenities as the previous three Die Hard films, but Live Free or Die Hard most certainly delivers the cinematic punch.

    Awesome

I had lots of doubts going into a pg-13 diehard, but this movie did not disappoint, same old diehard, just with less blood, acting is great, a few to good to be true scenes, but defianetly a go see, worth the 12 years of waiting

    This movie is awesome!!!

How can you not love this movie?? It is just as good as the first and second DieHard movies and is a movie that pleases.
It has action and gunfights basically throughout the whole movie, while keeping at pace with the storyline.
What i love most about this movie was that it was original, why still having older DieHard elements in it. The firesale is new and i have never about it, and the ending is wayy original. Even i who usually have movies figured out by the end didnt see it coming. In the age of the short attention span, this movie will even capture the shortest of spans that people posses. It is without a doubt, a must see.

    John McClane at His Best

Loved it. As someone else mentioned in another review. You'll enjoy it more if you don't worry about bullet-proof armchairs and car roofs. There's also great comic relief in the midst of the action! Justin Long's character made a great sidekick.

    ******2 THUMBS WAY UP*******

This movie was great! It is the first Die Hard movie I've seen and it was fantastic. I didn't fee like I was missing anything from not seeing the previous movies. The "APPLE" kid was hilarious, it's like if you met him in real life, he might really be like that!

Not Just Another Die Hard Movie

I expected a usual Die Hard Movie with swearing and blood and guts but this movie had several plots in it. A story of a dad, a boy friend, a daughter it was not at all what I expected. It was non-stop action from start to finish. the stunts were amazing, there were funny parts, and serious parts, even political views. This was an all around good movie that was sensored enough to let young adults enjoy without the usual profanity. Good job a real must see.

    Fantastic

This was a great movie. I didn't even realize that it ran for over 2 hours. The flow was fantastic, and there was no filler moments in the film, just flawless scene transitions and dialogue. Seeing Kevin Smith play a "Cyber Jedi" or whatever Justin Long's character calls him, was fantastic, it was a great, fun addition to the movies already witty dialogue and cast of characters. Timothy Olyphant does a great job looking menacing, his face is perfect for a villain, and of course Justin Long does a fantastic job of playing a computer whiz (who uses a PC by the way). Then there is Bruce Willis, who I have loved ever since his start making major motion pictures, yes I even liked Hudson Hawk. He does a great job in the movie, and really brings it home with his every-man attitude. His one-liners are always great and the action sequences he shoots are amazing, luckily none of them look too over the top (maybe except the tunnel scene). Over all, this was a fantastic movie and I recommend it!

    Still very worthy

For months ive be esctatic about seeing the new DIe Hard. Then when i read it was PG-13 i was very upset. What makes the series so great is that we have a hero who talks so much trash and back it up, with out any disregard. But i said I will give it the benafit of the doubt. As watching it I was very suprised, then I became amazed. Len and Bruce actually pulled of a fantastic movie almost as good as the original. Bruce had great one liners and the action was fantastic. Out of all the comic movies, and sci-fi ,we keep seeing, die hard is still the best action series ever bar none. If u are a Die Hard fan or just an action fan the is the best u will see in a long time.

    Can't Believe it

I never thought I'd say this about an franchise film -- This film was great. Not Academy Award great, but very well done. Even if you're not a Die Hard fan, you will enjoy the film.

Perfect Escape for a Summer Day

    by fizbutt

Just go. Nothing to criticize - just a wonderful popcorn movie. Totally over the top, but who cares. There's a reason Bruce is a star. And LOVED the Mac guy!

    Great Action Movie

This movie was great, a must go. Even better than "Die Hard With Avengence" John McClane is back at it kicking even more butt. Great summer flick
