I read the book LIfe of Pi and it was one of my favorite books ever. I thought the movie did a good job of staying true to the book. The special effects were amazing..The movie is very well done and very thought-provoking..

Very interesting and touching movie. One of the few that I think should probably be seen in 3D even though I am not a huge fan of 3D movies. The ending is pretty mysterious and I almost wish it were simpler. NOT a movie for little kids though which I wish they made a little clearer in the ads.

I read the book before seeing this movie and so worried that it would not be true to the book, but it was! Visually stunning and wonderful acting. Go see it, you will love the story(s)!

really beautiful scenery and photography but no real plot. seems magical beyond belief which hurts any real sense of realism. It's not worth the time it takes to digest all this great imagery.

I went to this movie curious as to how a computer generated tiger could carry a movie into an Academy Award nomination. Well the movie blew away any notion I had about computer generated effects. It was a thoughtful, suspenseful and beautiful movie. The acting, art direction, set design and technical effects were great. A must see and ok for ages 12 and older I would say. The movie keeps you thinking long after it is over. Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen.
