Very Interesting movie didn't know what to expect here starting out. It held my interest the whole time found the story bout the love the boy and the little vampire shared very beautiful in a way. Wasn't very scary as far as horror movies go but It was still compelling and original. Go see it will be very surprised and might even like it. Has my vote as the best foreign movie of 2008

Let The Right One In is one of the best films of the year and quite possibly one of the best vampire films I've ever seen. The care taken here with the writing, casting, and direction was deeply moving to me after a lifetime of blood-sucker movie watching that's left me always fond of the genre but a bit jaded. The young girl is particularly good, finding the weariness, eternal knowledge, loneliness, and air of mystery that so many actors only scratch the surface of when portraying a vampire. A tale well told that makes you believe. My jaw dropped many times.
If you have an art-house cinema anywhere near you, call or write the manager and beg them to book this film. A genre classic that's guaranteed to get people talking afterwards.

This movie was sad, scary , creepy and human . As vampire movies go there were hardly any special effects but there was no need just great story and acting. It was beautiful shot and the background was another character in the film. It was what Twilight tried to be. Maybe this director should get the franchise.
I strongly recommend it.

Alternately grotesque and heartwarming, this film offers a new take on the vampire flick and leaves enough unanswered questions to warrant a sequel. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say it's well worth the price of admission.
