I love this movie and it is one of few Christian movies out there. It pleases kids ages 5+ but my whole family laughed and cried! When you see this movie be sure and have some Kleenex handy because this is probably the saddest movie you will see in your life. The message is great but the acting is average I love this movie it touched my whole family especially the ones over the age of 5.

I had the opportunity to see a pre-screening of this movie the only things I knew about it was some little boy who has cancer starts writing letters to God and then his mail man reads them and they become friends or something. I honestly only went because it was a free movie. This movie is SOOOOO MUCH more. It was AMAZING! Really I have no better word than amazing. I laughed, I cried, I was moved by this little boy who had such a big heart. It is based on a true story which really brings the movie close to home. I will see this movie again and bring friends when it officially comes out in theater and will probably purchase and watch again and again when it comes out on dvd. If you've been touched by cancer or have any faith what so ever GO see this movie.

I have seen this movie twice and it is terrific! It is based on a true story about an eight-year-old boy with brain cancer who faces his daily battle with courage and grace. To him, God is a friend, a teacher and the ultimate pen pal. His prayers take the form of letters, which he composes and mails on a daily basis. The letters find their way into the hands of a beleaguered mailman at a crossroads in his life. The boy’s shining spirit and unshakable faith inspire the mailman to get his life back on track – and inspire many others as well. I don’t want to spoil the story but the movie is filled with hope and has many moments that are downright funny. You can see a trailer and buy tickets at [BLOCKED WEBSITE] Hallmark’s DaySpring cards has created a card line based on the movie and Zondervan has published 7 books to go with it. This is a great story, beautifully produced. If you or a loved one has been touched by cancer, it will be especially meaninful.
