A tale drawing heavy influence from the ancient Indian myth of Krishna and Radha, Ram Madhavani's Let's Talk dramatizes an overwhelming difficulty that arises in a nuptial relationship between a young woman named Radhika and her husband. As the story opens, Radhika is pregnant, though not with her husband's child. As she tries to determine the wisest way to tell him, her imagination flits through the possible reactions that she might encounter - from unchecked rage to love, understanding and forgiveness; these fantasies about possible occurrences in a marriage form the basis of the narrative. Produced in 2002, Let's Talk gained immense historical importance by setting several precedents in Indian cinema: it marked one of the first Indian psychological dramas, shot in an understated manner with an (often handheld) digital camera, and one of the first Indian motion pictures to explicitly discuss the subject of marital infidelity - a subject long regarded as taboo on Indian screens. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
