I was at the actual 25th anniversary concert in London at the O2 and it was great! The finale was the icing on the cake with all your favorites coming back. Lea Salonga (was in the 10th anniversary as well) was perfect and the best part of the cast. Norm Lewis was a great Javert and Samantha Barks did a good Eponine. The only failure was the booking of Nick Jonas as Marius. It was evident this was done for sales, rather than his prior work in this could barely hear him during the concert (he had no power). That said, however, he did a very good Empty Chairs at Empty Tables (where the music was low and didn't overpower him). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this on the big screen, so if you were not there...go see it! I'm going to see it in the theater just to relive the excitement of that day!

I wept, I cheered, I applauded...and the entire theatre audience was right there with me! Absolutely FANTASTIC! From Alfie Boe to Norm Lewis to Lea Salonga to the chorus...the acting & singing was superb. AND the reunion of the casts was the cherry on top!! I want to buy this as soon as it's available on DVD, though I'd LOVE to see it on the big screen AGAIN...the ONLY way to see it properly, in my opinion!!! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I have to admit, at first I only went to see this play because Nick Jonas was in it...but I ended up loving this play so much it has become my favorite! All of the actors were amazing, with truly powerful voices full of passion. I thought my friend and I would be bored, but we truly enjoyed ourselves! We laughed, we cried, we loved every second of it! I would truly recommend this to everyone, even if you aren't into musicals and opera. P.S. I was scared Nick Jonas wouldn't fit in with the play, but he did a fantastic job! Kudos to him! :D
