I thought that it was a phenomenal movie. Great story line and well acted. My emotions ran from angry, sad, happy, crying. The entire audience clapped when it was over. It's a must see.
I would see it again.
Well done Mr. Daniels

Finally someone has done a movie that has summarized the most relevant highlights of the Black American experience over the last 60 years! It's a must see for the current and next generation!

Took me back! to the days of presidencies and civil rights struggle in a beautiful, sentimental, warm and familiar, yet revealing way. All my favorite actors and actresses did bang up jobs--Forest Whittaker, Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack,Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, and more.
Way better than The HELP which I refused to see on principle. This depicts us in subservient roles with dignity and quiet revolutionary spirit that won action without jail sentence and bloodshed in that instance (Gaines getting the salaries and benefits increased for blacks in White House).

I really wanted to like this movie... it is left wing propaganda. Sadly judging from the previews shown beforehand; there is a lot more on the way. Must be gearing up for mid-terms. Wake up America!! How can a predominately racist country elect a black man twice. The divisive nature of this administration is creating racism.

Great movie story, but very polititally motivated which with my being an independent, I was very unhappy and disappointed in the intent to further divide our country.
