Celebration Day

I have been waiting over 30 yrs for this and not dissapointed! The band was outstanding, Truly the world's greatest and most original heavy metal band or rock band period for that matter. Jmmy Page was unreal, it was like he never took a break from the music even after all this time. Robert Plant's voice was spot on, no sign of age if anything it was better! His growls and moans more nuanced than ever. JPJ showed he is no minor player, his bluesy groove on the base and his organ work brought the original feel alive. And Jason! His dad is smiling down because Jason channeled him like he was posessed. What a way to step up the bar. My only complaint is that the theatre did not have the volume turned up to shake the walls. In fact it started so low that the entire audiance demanded to "TURN IT UP!" If these guys don't tour the world will be a poorer place indeed

I never saw Zeppelin live, since I was 14 when John Bonham died. But I've seen Plant solo and Jimmy Page (ARMS & Firm), and Page with Plant a number of times over the years. Plant's voice was fading, and Page's playing appeared really impaired. I thought I was going to see a shadow of what they once were. Not so!. Plant's voice and Page's playing were incredible. Plant said they were too old to tour again, and didn't have the energy that they had as young men. Didn't look that way to me. They are 5 years older now, so why not do a limited tour with plenty of rest. They could simulcast each as well, so everyone can see it. Again, incredible concert! Plus for a true Zep fan, their set list didn't include just the hits.

I saw the concert movie last night 10/18/12 at the movie theater and it was AMAZING! Everyone in the theater was really into it! It was like we all were there in person! Led Zep's performance was Fantastic! They Rocked the place! It was really Great! It was great to see all the guys back jamming together again with Bonham's son Jason! Jason really sounds like his dad on those drums! I will surely buy the DVD when it comes out 11/19/12! Can't wait to see it again! Very long time Zep fan, Mike B. Hollywood, FL

A must for anyone to view if he or she wishes to be well- rounded in their education and understanding of what it means to know about the best contemporary music of the late 20th and early 21st as performed by these four master musicians! Riveted to the screen with my ears and eyes for the entire length of the film! Bravo John, Jimmy, Robert and Jason!!!

Grande Finale

What a thrill to see Page, Plant, and Jones on stage again, with Bonham's son. A great performance - unbelievable how good they were on stage.I was worried that 30 years would show in the performance, but if it did, it was only in the sense that they were better. Tons of energy. Plant is still a golden god, just a little more grizzled. Led Zep had a few unfortunate public performances since Bonham's death, but this concert makes up for that in spades. The movie was a celebration, but also a farewell to an era, and I was both thrilled and a little melancholy that it was likely their final hurrah. But it's the best hurrah they could have offered.
