it makes you wish they toured. I had my doubts but, they rocked it like nobody else could. Sound was awesome at aliso, they raised the volume after the 1st song or two and I had a little ring in my ear afterwards. As close to a zep show as I will ever get. The way they mixed in the crowd audio was very cool as well.

This is an amazing experience for any Zeppelin fan. The magic of this band/material is alive and well. The footage puts you right next to the players throughout the entire show. Even many the few audience shots are from the stage. The joy, power, sensitivity and passion these guys create with is nothing short of inspired. The whole movie going audience felt it and responded as if the band could hear us cheering. Jason Bonham shows why he's the only drummer who could possibly fill in for his dad in this band. He captures John's feel beautifully. Many drummers mistake Bonham's powerfor volume. Jason knows better and plays with restraint, sensitivity and re-creates the deep pockets that propel Pages riffs, chord work and solos.
Pages playing is all you'd hope it to be as is John Paul Jones'. These cats still bring it!!!
Plant's voice is better than ever. You can hear him pacing his performance throughout the show. Choosing his moments to unleash his Comanche wails and howls better.

It was AWE SUM. Bonham was key, and he utterly nailed it. Sound and visuals and performance were perfection, with the exception of the tired and over rated Stairway. Best moment: Bass intro to Dazed and Confused...brought the house down. I saw it at the AMC 25 in Times Square, NYC. Plants vocals were surprisingly fresh and clean. Kashmir was EPIC. Jonsey was Johnny on the spot, and Pagey was rockin' and masterful. Best Jason moment: drum solo on Rock and Roll, ending the concert. See This.

This was such a wonderful experience in the theater. Truly amazing to see these living legends still at it.
To put it in perespective. Everyone in the theater was screaming "Turn it up"
one guest went to the office and came back successful. They turned the volume up which is really the only way to listen to Zep.
The entire concert was fabulous. as for the Late John Bonhams son Jason Bonham filling in for dad. All I gotta say is "The fruit does not fall far from the tree"

Went to See the "One Night Only" showing of Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day Tonight. However, there was a Theater Authentication Code Failure at the Lighthouse Cinema in Pacific Grove, CA. So, after waiting almost 2 hours, we were all told that a gentleman in the UK at the Film Distributors Office who emails out the digital authentication codes to each theater, which enables the Digital Film to play, was giving up after 3 of the codes failed to work. So, we all missed the 'one night only' showing of the Zeppelin 'Live Concert Film' and the A hole at the UK office said he was giving up and going to bed. Thanks A Lot....
