What a thrill to see Page, Plant, and Jones on stage again, with Bonham's son. A great performance - unbelievable how good they were on stage.I was worried that 30 years would show in the performance, but if it did, it was only in the sense that they were better. Tons of energy. Plant is still a golden god, just a little more grizzled. Led Zep had a few unfortunate public performances since Bonham's death, but this concert makes up for that in spades. The movie was a celebration, but also a farewell to an era, and I was both thrilled and a little melancholy that it was likely their final hurrah. But it's the best hurrah they could have offered.

Being a Led-head since 1969 my wife and I were very excited to see this movie - it did not disappoint! Songs performed were a best-of their whole catalog, (incl. SWTH...yuk) The concert was done in 2007 thus was tamer than "Song Remains the Same" and the DVD collection that Jimmy Page released a few years ago, but still a great performance. The Sound was loud enough to rock with, but not bone crushing loud... *but* the surround sound was very light and did not have the echos and reverb (or crowd ambiance) I expected. For gearheads, Page did not have *all* of his guitars (only 3 Les Pauls and the double-SG), and his amp backline was limited to 4 Oranges, 2 Plexis, and 2 Petersbergs (Russian semi-marshal clones); however he did have a modern Thermin and a monster custom pedalboard! My normally sedate wife swooned, "Jimmy is *the* Guitar God""!

I saw the concert movie last night 10/18/12 at the movie theater and it was AMAZING! Everyone in the theater was really into it! It was like we all were there in person! Led Zep's performance was Fantastic! They Rocked the place! It was really Great! It was great to see all the guys back jamming together again with Bonham's son Jason! Jason really sounds like his dad on those drums! I will surely buy the DVD when it comes out 11/19/12! Can't wait to see it again!
Very long time Zep fan,

Amazing performance by one of the greatest rock bands known around the world. This will be out on DVD soon, but DO NOT miss the chance to see this on the big screen with a few of your closest friends. Throughout the movie I kept thinking that these guys could really have made a fortune if they had just toured one more time, but when it was all done I realized that it will never happen again and what this film represents is their final gift to the true diehard fans.

The footage, of course, will satisfy any Zeppelin fan. It's great. I would caution anyone though to make sure the theater you see it in is equipped to project the sound properly. Where I saw it in Federal Way, WA it WAS NOT!! No surround sound, not loud enough at first until everyone was yelling to turn it up. Even when employees did their best the sound was only projecting from the front. 21st century video with '70's era sound. That was ironic. I'd call it a must see for Zep fans BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE IN A THEATER WITH PROPER AUDIO. Otherwise the experience is greatly diminished and you might as well wait until it comes out on DVD next month - especially if you have a home theater system.
