I was very disappointed with this movie. I thought the story line was weak and the acting was bad. I was pretty sad that I wasted my Fandango bucks on a movie like this.

This movie was very predictable. I enjoyed the movie for a Friday night relaxing movie. I don't think it was the best movie I've seen in awhile; however, I did enjoy the format of more of the old time movies. It was average in my ratings at best.

Leatherheads Review
This was a delightful movie, fast paced, charming interaction, and provided a fly-on-the-wall look at how professional football was established. George Clooney knows how to entertain and how to direct others to provide entertainment value. Miss Zellweger was delightful, char ming, andmasterful as the reporter directed to extracct the truth about a WW I incident that made Mr. Rutherford a hero, This movie was time well spent.

Cute but lacks substance
Lots of George Clooney looking adorable, and Rene Zellweger vamping it up. A fun movie, but not a great movie. It was good to see a movie without computer generate legions, with no car chases, explosions, and lots os special effects. I go to movies to be entertained. If I want to see things blowing up, I can stay home and watch the news. From this perspective, it was a nice evening out kind of film.

big disappointment
I had heard that this movie was fun and different and entertaining, but when I went to watch it, I was thoroughly disappointed. It was kind of a boring story, and the characters were boring, and halfway through I thought to myself, "I really really don't care at all what happens in this movie." No one I was with enjoyed this film very much at all. There were a couple of funny parts, but not enough to warrant sitting through the entire thing.

This was definitely a cute movie! I saw it with my parents when they were in town...it had football for my dad and George Clooney for my mom and myself:) Good date movie!
