Well it is Lawrence of Arabia after all

I won't comment on the movie as its a classic except to say its one of my favorites. I've had this picture on Laser Disc, DVD and watched it many times on my home HDTV. But this was my first viewing on the big screen and wow, I feel like I've seen this movie for the first time. My only complaint was the sound - it got a bit shrill for me during the crescendos.

Lawrence at the Egyptian!

I am a fan of this movie but I had only seen it on DVD. I just had to see it when I heard it would be on "the big screen". What a thrill! I must say that it was so beautiful! I will see it again when it plays on the big screen in Glendale next year, and I will go back to the Egyptian for other movies in the future. I recommend viewing classic movies like this on the big screen if you can, though TCM brings us the great films, there is nothing like seeing them the way they were intended.

See this on the big screen if you can! Hollywood doesn't make epics like this anymore. Peter O'Toole is at his best.
