And extraordinary performance. The film presentation was so bad the theatre gave free tickets to other films to compensate. It continuously blanked out the video. Had running interference. Sound was frequently messed up. How can you present such a bad production?

It is an updated modern setting for La Traviata. The staging is exquisite. The voices are astounding. The acting is superb. What else can I say. Brilliant And my 13 year old grandson loved it all.

At first I was uncertain at the contemporary staging but after a few minutes it seemed just right. Perhaps period costumes might have taken away from the music. The cast was perfect, every note was perfect. I believe even a person who did not like opera would have enjoyed this performance. I rate it a five star production.
