The music and his talenteld performance were sensational.
However we fournd all of the background lighting and pictures in the London segment to be so distracting as to be very detrimental to actually focusing on the performance and sometimes actually hearing the music. It was jarring!.
We are more classical purists that that. Both the performer and the music stand alone and it was an insult to both to feel the concert needed all that extra material to attract the right audience.
I still would not have wanted to miss it and I am appreciative of the idea of music like this being available in the theaters.
It was disappointing that there were so few people , only eight, in the theater. Maybe there is a way to promote this venue. I can't imagine a classical piano fan would not want to see the concert.
And thank you for the opportunity to reply.
