Clever, suspenseful - not just for Latinos!

    by yomain

This clever & rewarding film has enough twists to keep you guessing throughout. The driving undercurrent is disrespect towards immigrants. When that disrespect is adopted by wealthy infomercial kingpin Moctesuma Valdez to fellow immigrants (he exploits desperate Latinos by hawking expensive fake cures for everything from baldness to cancer) he becomes an irresistible target for professional thieves Emilio and Alejandro and their novice team of immigrants.

The immigrants exploit their ?invisible? status in society by integrating themselves into critical positions to get access to Moctesuma's vault holding all of the bank-distrusting millionaire?s wealth.

Much as Moctesuma doesn't know exactly what is going on, neither precisely does the audience. Each new element revealed makes the movie that much more suspenseful & satisfying.

I speak little Spanish, but enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Within minutes I was unaware of the subtitles, and became absorbed in the film.
