A Good Emotional Roller Coaster

First off I was excited for this movie, since it is a chick flick. It is defiantly that. It had it's slow moments where I didn't know where it will go and was getting a little wary but it then picked up in the story and it did not disappoint! It was fun, heart warming, so incredibly sad. A few scenes were way Intense and don't recommend children seeing it because the content gets kind of heavy at times but the overall movie was pretty incredible! I will defiantly be buying this on DVD.

Acting was great. Wonderful chemistry among all three main characters. However, the story and situation were ridiculous. This was a made for TV movie. I was very disappointed.

So it's more of a chick flick and I'm a guy. Took my wife on her birthday. The plot, far fetched, but still interesting. It managed to keep my attention thru most of the film. Was concerned since it is almost two hours, but never looked at my watch. As many have stated, it can bog down at times, but there is a sub plot that adds interest. While entertaining, I recommend waiting for it to come out on TV. Went for the wife, who thought the plot was not very good, she's more of a movie critic than I am. Overall, I enjoyed it, but felt I could have waited for the movie on TV.

Kate Winslet & Brolin are amazing in this romance. Kate is an actress that will burn these roles into our memories. The flow of the movie was nice, kept your attention and wondering why he was in jail. Go see it, great story tears and a wonderful ending!

A chick flick

I liked this film -- good story, though not realistic, and good chemistry. A tear-jerker. My husband would call it a chick flick. The audience reaction was polarized.
